2023 Cover: Maverick

Maverick is a 4 year old Golden Retriever who lives the dream at The Prairie Club in Valentine, NE. Maverick loves greeting guests on the driving range, chasing jackrabbits, and swimming in the irrigation pond. His favorite part of the day is eating lunch with the crew in the breakroom. Mav adores people and is always pleased to receive attention from anyone he meets. Apart from work, Maverick loves going for walks, hikes, and road trips.

Andrew Getty is a GCSAA Class A Superintendent of the Dunes Course at The Prairie Club in Valentine, NE. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Turfgrass and Landscape Management. In his free time, Andrew enjoys cheering for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Minnesota Vikings, weightlifting, reading, and working on projects around the house.
